Our Score

I felt we were really on the same page during our first call for score. Something impactful, but understated. Something that packs an emotional punch without feeling schmaltzy or result oriented. A score that is memorable, but doesn’t take away from what we are seeing and hearing on screen. Something that leans towards “ambient orchestral” I think is a perfect fit for this.

I also would like to play with the idea of the score falling off to a potential silence, or at least a really quiet moment during our key emotional event after question two. I think allowing that space to sit and breathe is going to be very powerful, before picking up the score again for an emotional hit towards the end.
